Tonya L. Hicks is the President and CEO of Power Solutions, Inc. and Managing Principal of Women Do Everything, LLC. A pioneering entrepreneur and journeyman electrician, she made history as the first African American woman to achieve IBEW journeyman status in Mississippi.

With more than two decades of experience spanning renewable energy, electrification, and digital automation, Tonya has grown Power Solutions into a leading electrical contracting, energy solutions, and facility maintenance firm. In 2022, she launched a domestic manufacturing division under the sheEV brand, producing electric vehicle chargers and battery energy storage systems to support the clean energy transition.

Through Women Do Everything, Tonya advances workforce development, entrepreneurship, and access to high-paying careers in the skilled trades. She also serves as Board Chair of Partners in Action for Healthy Living (PAHL), where she leads initiatives focused on healthy homes, sustainability, and workforce development in underserved communities.

Tonya serves on the boards of C5 Georgia Leadership Foundation and the Georgia Women's Chamber of Commerce. Her work and leadership have been featured in The New York Times, Forbes Japan, and Project Drawdown's Neighborhood Series.

A Leadership Atlanta alumna and Sustainability Ambassador for the City of Atlanta, Tonya has received numerous honors, including Minority Contractor of the Year (NAMC, 2021), Top 100 Women in Construction (2023), and ATL Plus Magazine's 50 Most Powerful Women (2024). In 2024, she became the first American to win the Global Tech Start-up Award from Women in Tech Global in Paris, France.

In 2025, Tonya was named to the Grist 50 Fixer List and recognized as one of the Atlanta Business League's 100 Women of Influence. In February 2026, she was honored by the NAACP in Meridian, Mississippi, for her leadership and contributions to business and community impact.
